Bas Dijk joins BMT Netherlands as Marine Surveyor

Bas Dijk has recently joined BMT Netherlands B.V. as Marine Surveyor. Bas is stationed in BMT’s new Rotterdam office on the Rivium Business park, Capelle a/d IJssel.

After having successfully completed the Maritime Academy, where he was dual educated both as deck officer and marine engineer.  Bas gained seven years of seagoing experience as deck officer in various ranks on a variety of different ships, including container vessels and chemical/oil tankers. Over the past five years, he has mainly specialised in the field of chemical transport at a renowned shipping company, where he has gained significant experience in the Baltic and Mediterranean region in particular.

Bas will continue his career within BMT as a Marine Surveyor focused on investigating nautical and cargo problems.  

Bas Dijk nieuwe schade expert bij BMT Netherlands

Per 1 februari j.l. is Bas Dijk in dienst getreden als maritiem schade expert bij BMT Netherlands B.V., werkend vanuit het nieuwe kantoor van BMT op het Rivium in Capelle a/d IJssel.

Na het succesvol afronden van zijn opleiding tot Maritiem Officier, wat hem zowel zijn diploma als stuurman en als scheepswerktuigkundige heeft opgeleverd, heeft Bas zeven jaar zeegaande ervaring opgedaan als stuurman op diverse schepen waaronder Containerschepen en Chemicaliën / Olie tankers. De afgelopen 5 jaar heeft hij zich voornamelijk gespecialiseerd op het gebied van Chemicaliën transport bij een gerenomeerde rederij waar hij veel ervaring heeft opgedaan in met name the Baltische en Middellandse zee regio.

Bas zal zijn carriere binnen BMT voortzetten als schade expert met een specialisme in het onderzoeken van Nautische en lading problemen.
