Erik graduated the Antwerp Maritime Academy as a Marine Engineer in 2009. He started his career on board of crude oil tankers. Mainly VLCC, ULCC and Suezmax sized tankers. After 6 years at sea he switched to a career as a two stroke service engineer. He also has experience as a trainer in the technical department of a dredging company.
