Sir Clive Johnstone

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our Director of Strategy, Sir Clive Johnstone.

Clive came to BMT in 2020 and brought with him a fresh approach to strategic planning, a dynamic flair for complex change programmes, a vibrant contribution to our senior leadership team, and both his wry sense of humour and his deep care about people.

Clive was a Vice-Admiral of the Royal Navy, Distinguished Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute and Globsec's NATO Security Advisory Council, Vice Patron of the Battle of the Atlantic Memorial, and was recently made National President of the Royal British Legion.

Clive was incredibly well-respected in both business and security circles and will leave a profound gap here at BMT, and in the lives of everyone who knew him. 

Our thoughts and support are with Clive’s family at this time.
