Emily Spurling appointed as Regional Business Director for BMT in Americas

Mrs. Spurling's career spans an impressive 30 years, which began in the Royal Australian Navy and led her into working within the private sector in the defense industries in Australia and Canada. Her depth of knowledge and expertise positions her as a pivotal figure within BMT, where she will lead efforts to expand our client base and penetrate new markets by offering a cohesive suite of BMT’s services and capabilities within Canada and the US.

Emily's extensive background in forward planning, transformation programs, platform safety and certification, and senior engineering consulting will play a crucial role in expanding our understanding of BMT’s capabilities and propelling our growth trajectory.

Since joining BMT in 2015 as a Combat and Systems Engineering Manager in Canada, Emily has continually progressed through roles including Director Engineering and VP Design and Engineering services, demonstrating her value to the team and earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and management through her exemplary guidance and leadership.

Emily’s appointment has her joining Phil Metcalf and Graeme Nayler, Regional Business Directors for BMT in UK/Europe and APAC respectively, to foster growth through strategic collaboration across regions.
