Jan brings a wealth of experience to his role, holding a master’s degree in Nautical Sciences from the Antwerp Maritime Academy. With an extensive 30-year career, including 11 years in seagoing roles and over 16 years managing dry and liquid bulk terminals in Antwerp Port, Jan's expertise spans a diverse spectrum of the maritime and terminal business development markets.

Jan's international experience, including over five years as the Port Operations Manager for Abu Dhabi Ports in Guinea, West Africa, adds a valuable dimension to BMT's global reach.
