2023 is off to a great start for BMT, with Andrew Aldrich formally accepting the role of Global Business Director for our Infrastructure and Environment portfolio. In his new role, Andy will draw upon years of success leading our Instrumentation Services Business Unit in the Oil and Gas sector and will be tasked with priming our existing capabilities within the Infrastructure and Environment portfolios for strategic business opportunities and expansion into new and existing markets including environment, energy, and government.
Andy joined BMT in 2006 as an Electronic Engineer and has progressively risen his way ‘through the ranks’, growing into leadership roles that have exposed him to a wide range of projects. His extensive work and project history, paired with his exceptional technical knowledge and deep understanding of our capabilities makes him a strong choice for this new role.
“I am delighted that Andy has accepted a role with the Future Business team at BMT. Having worked with Andy over several years, I believe that he will bring positive energy, with the passion and enthusiasm needed to grow our business. His technical understanding of our customers’ needs and the challenges they face in rapidly changing markets will be paramount in this role, and his strong technical knowledge of our engineering and environmental capabilities will be of great benefit to our customers and our collaborative success.” – Dr. Louise Ledgard - Future Business Director, BMT
As a science, technology, and engineering organisation we draw on our wealth of knowledge, technical expertise and decades of innovation heritage to help our Infrastructure- and Environment- customers in their response to global challenges across renewable energy, climate resilience, resource use, biodiversity and emissions reduction. In parallel to our business focus, we are also supporting organisations from all over the world to transform their approach to sustainability, so they can be more responsible, resilient and better positioned for the future.
“BMT’s infrastructure and environment teams are made up of the best industry professionals working on the industry’s greatest challenges. I’ve been very fortunate in my career to have worked directly on some of these challenges with our infrastructure customers and am excited to continue that across BMT’s full infrastructure and environment portfolio.” – Andrew Aldrich
Andy’s appointment comes at an exciting time within the global organisation that sees enormous opportunity for growth. This, coupled with the market’s rapid rise and proliferation of digital capabilities lends to strengthening our business’s products and integrated services in Environment and Infrastructure, including in the area of advanced asset lifecycle services.
Congratulations, Andy!
