BMT/BMT India Joint statement about strategic relationship

BMT Consultants (India) Pvt. Ltd and BMT are pleased to announce a new independent business structure, which will operate under the brand of ‘BMT India’ and continue to legally trade under the registration of BMT Consultants (India) Pvt. Ltd.

“The strategic relationship between BMT India and BMT has never been stronger," said the newly appointed BMT India’ Managing Director Tarun Kaw. "For more than 20 years, we've supported our customers with engineering consultancy services in coastal infrastructure and created substantial growth and value for both companies and our teams”.

“In addition to the options we are exploring to create additional value, we are accelerating our strategy - which remains unchanged. We are focused on winning in the consolidating markets where we operate and innovating across the BMT India portfolio to create integrated solutions that turn maritime and sustainability challenges into insights and action."

BMT India has retained its existing management structure and is established as a fully independent company, while continuing to draw on strategic and technology support from BMT.

As part of its operational strategy, the company still expects to realise mutually beneficial commercial arrangements similar to those currently in place, including cooperative agreements in Port Infrastructure and Maritime, go-to-market services, R&D and other synergistic consultancy services between BMT India and BMT.
