The EIC Digital Award celebrates applying digital systems, analytics and technology to innovate the energy industry. BMT has presented the award for BMT DEEP during the virtual award ceremony held on 3 December 2020. Soma Maroju, technical lead for BMT DEEP, who also came runner up for the EIC’s Rising Star award, said this when accepting the award:
“I am honoured to accept this award on behalf of BMT, it’s a great achievement for our asset monitoring platform BMT DEEP. After years of working with our customers, who are a constant inspiration, it is great to see our efforts to support their digital transformation programmes being recognised by the EIC and their members. BMT DEEP is delivering real value to our customers, by helping them gain insight from their data and enabling them to maximise the value from their assets – with that, I’d just like to express my thanks to the judges for choosing BMT as co-winner!”
Sarah Kenny, Chief Executive of BMT, commented:
“The energy sector, like many others, is rapidly evolving, digitising and transforming as it looks to adapt to the challenges of the future.
