The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers is a global professional society that provides a forum for advancing the engineering profession's art, science, and practice as applied to the marine field. In April 2020, we launched a STEM home challenge for students between 10 and 16. We asked them to use their STEM knowledge and tell us how transport, drones or satellites could help save our planet. We were very impressed by the level of submitted entries and are delighted to announce the winner here.
To mark the retirement of Ian Davies from our Board of Directors and in support of the Marine Society and the Sea Cadets in delivering life-enhancing opportunities to young people and seafarers, we recently sponsored two new RS Zest Dinghies.
